  • +Zeebe engine for high-throughput orchestration

  • -Desktop modeler feels dated
  • -Not designed for process documentation or landscapes

Our take

Camunda is not a modeling tool, it is an automation platform. If your goal is to execute processes in code, Camunda is excellent. If your goal is to document, communicate, and improve how your organization works, you need something else first. Many teams model in crismo, then export to Camunda for execution.
